: Polar Bear Training: Lose the Water Wings
Mar 15, 2006

Umm, sure, that makes sense. Wally just needed some reasoning. He had a good point that Osbourne does indeed have some natural water wings.

I’m not sure why they call those things water wings anyway, that’s what I always heard them referred to as anyway. More like portable arm restraints. Maybe if you fill them up with helium for small children they act like water wings and the kids can hover around the yard.

MySpace & LiveJournal

Guess what? I am now in your extended network! Whatever that means. I now have a MySpace account and a LiveJournal account so feel free to add me as a friend or put me on ignore or what have you. I am now more up-to-date on the business of cyber networking. I’ll be keeping a blog at the LiveJournal page with updates on whatever projects or creations I’m working on aside from On the Rocks if you want to follow it, and MySpace… I haven’t quite figured out what you do with it but I’ll try and take a bunch of pictures of myself in the bathroom mirror with a digital camera at some extreme angles and stuff. 😀

Isn’t there a rule about trying logic on people with child-like minds?

Out here, we don’t call them water wings – we call them “floaties”. I was always confused when I read the term water wings in a book or a comic.

I’ve never heard them called water wings even when I worked in sports and seasonal at a canadian tire… floaties is what people normally called them.

  8. Burrell says:

Floaties for sure, since i was 4 and needed em my self… if they made em in adult sizes i would have some… think how great it would be to float around with a brew in hand with your arms held above the water…

PS the strip just keeps getting better… love the recent storyline… cant wait to see where it goes!

Tyler, in response to your response to my wallpaper request =P The screen’s only 15-some inches, but I changed it to 1600×1200 and unfortunately I can’t stand any smaller now =/

If you don’t want to be making that many wallpaper sizes, I’ll forgive ya =) Just keep up the awesome comic!

I’ve heard floaties, water wings and all of them. Floaties remind me of floaters and thats just not good! I see that you’ve already figured out that if you want to be on myspace that is pretty much a requirement to have a mirror picture… its weird I know… I don’t think I have one though…

  15. tux says:
